I just wanted to drop a note to let everyone know that the recording sessions for the new Cea Serin album is back in progress. More information after the jump.
As I’ve said in other places, there was a huge flood in my city last year. My studio and house took in about 3 feet of water. Now that the rebuild is done, I’m back in my studio and tracking again.
I’m pleased to say that the guitar and bass tracks are done for the first song; the rhythm guitars are done for the second song and last night I started tracking bass on it.
These aren’t ordinary songs though. Each song on the new album is over ten minutes long. So saying that guitars are done on one song is pretty much like saying guitars are done on about 3 or 4 songs.
Here are some pics from last night and a little later I’ll share the working titles for the songs as well as more info like song lengths and instruments we’re using.
