“Ice” – The official video is now here

Well, here it is. It’s the official video for the song “Ice” which, of course, is off the new album, The Vibrant Sound of Bliss and Decay.

It’s Cea Serin’s first video and it’s a cover song.  Yes, I know.  But it’s short and sweet and not a 10 to 20 minute long epic.  “Ice” is a cover of a Sarah McLachlan song and the CS version is a little different than the original version.  We took the acoustic guitar part and transplanted it to the piano.  We also added some additional sections to it.  We just had to have a solo in it, right?

“Ice” is also the first Cea Serin song where Jay played guitar in a Cea Serin recording (with the exception to some clean guitar parts in “The Victim Cult).  Keith Warman recorded the excellent solo but the guitar and bass were performed by Jay Lamm.  The drums and percurssion were handled by Rory Faciane.  As far as the video goes, Jay put it together–a very different process than what was involved with the “Victim Cult” lyric video.

So here it is:

Please share it with your friends.
